- Where is my order?
If you haven’t yet received your order, please double check that we are still within the 15-day turnaround specified in our Terms and Conditions when placing your order with us. If the 15 days have passed then please get in touch with us via email at sarahscreativekitchen@hotmail.com so we can provide you with your tracking number.
It is very, very rare with all the tracking technology available to us (and we do utilise this as every parcel is sent tracked), parcels can go ‘missing’. In the event of this happening, you will fill out a claim with Royal Mail via their website.
- Can I freeze my order?
You can freeze your order if you would like it to last longer. As a general rule you can keep chocolate stored in the freezer for up to 18 months after the date it was made (though we’ve never had anyone manage to keep it for this long yet!)
- Can I order a bespoke order
Absolutely you can! 😊 Bespoke orders do book up really quickly as we have limited time and capacity to create them. Our 2021 diary is booked up until April, but we are still taking bespoke orders for after this date. You can place your own order with us via email at sarahscreativekitchen@hotmail.com
Due to the continuous influx of messages on our social media pages, we do not take orders through Direct Message or Messenger – this just enables us to remain more streamlined, and helps us make sure your order enquiry doesn’t get lost.
- Can I order your chocolate?
Of course. You can order our chocolate through our website, here is a direct link: www.sarahscreativekitchen.co.uk
- Do you provide nutritional values on your products?
It is really important to us to make sure we keep you all in the loop with regards to the contents of our products. Every single item we sell has full nutritional details on the packaging, or online on our website shop. This means you know what it is you’re eating and also allows those of you with limitations, dietary needs or allergies to be fully aware.
- Do you add syns or points to your chocolates?
Sarah’s Creative Kitchen was initially established as a means to create lower calorie treats as I undertook my own Weight Watchers journey. A lot of our customer base has come from that and we know it is important to a number of you for our products to list their Syn / Smart Point Value, however. we cannot write the words syns or points on our products, but on some packs you will find an sp and s value, hope this helps! We do advise you do double check them though as things do change all the time.
- Do you deliver to UK addresses?
We do indeed. We are very, very lucky to have an amazing customer base Nationwide.
- Do you ship worldwide?
Though the shipping costs obviously change for cross-country postal deliveries, we can confirm we do ship our goodies anywhere in the world where they’re wanted.
- Do you do NUT FREE/VEGAN/GLUTEN FREE/FREE FORM?
Please be aware that all chocolates are freshly made in an environment where celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, nuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, soya and sulphites are present on site and used in our Eatery at the front.
We do take extra precautions when making, to avoid cross contamination, to work with certain products on set days, but where our chillers, moulds and building do make with all allergy group products, it is very important that you do not order if this can affect you.
Our products will come labelled with: May Contain and will list the various allergy groups.
We do have sections of our shop, that are labelled as made with Gluten Free products, Vegan and Dairy Free, but like so many shops and manufacturers we will contain to list all allergy groups that may be affected by buying our products.
From October 2021, all companies who make and sell any type of food to members of the public, will be required by law to ensure all products are clearly labelled with full compound ingredients and allergy information.
- Can I order cakes or slices from you?
Our cakes and bakes are sold through our sister company, Sarah’s Chocolate Kitchen, which is an entirely different business completely. If you would like to sample some of those sweet treats, you can have them delivered directly to your door through our Postal Delivery service. Orders are placed through our other website www.sarahschocolatekitchen.co.uk
These products are not available to buy all the time, but are uploaded on set days for set day delivery. Occasionally Sarah’s Creative Kitchen will buy products from Sarah’s Chocolate Kitchen, and vice versa, to create Mystery Boxes, Flash Sale Hampers etc.
- Can I merge my order?
Although we wish we could merge any order made on the shop, at the moment we simply don’t have the staff time or capacity to do so.
- I have forgotten something, can I add to my order?
As above, though this might change in the future, at the moment we don’t have the time or capacity to be manually adding to, changing or merging orders.
- How much is postage?
We currently have a flat fee postage/packaging of £5.99
This is a cost we do not profit from, as it is a combination of the cost of packaging, and the Royal Mail charge for tracked delivery.
- Where are you based?
We are a small business based in a large seaside town in Essex – Southend On Sea. We are currently working from the back of our Eatery shop on Raleigh Road (SS9 5UZ) but do still have a factory elsewhere currently being used for storage.
Any orders placed for collection need to be picked up from our Sarah’s Chocolate Kitchen base.
- Can I buy chocolate in your shop?
Under normal circumstances we do stock Sarah’s Creative Kitchen chocolate at the eatery. Due to the current situation with the pandemic, we are operating only as a Click and Collect / Takeaway service.
By all means, you can still place your order online and collect it from us if you are local, but for Health and Safety reasons we are not placing any of our goodies at the front of the shop where it can be handled by the general public. This is just one of the ways we can try to reduce transmission of the virus – we need to do what we can to protect our employees and our customers.
Eventually, we will be stocking chocolate back on our eatery shelves for you to grab and go – we will post updates as government guidelines change and we adapt as necessary.
- I cannot log into my account?
Sorry to hear you are having trouble with this – have you tried resetting your password? If you have and it still isn’t working, please drop us an email and we can get our techno guru (Michael, the hubs) to have a look for you – sarahscreativekitchen@hotmail.com , also check your spam, junk or other folder for the reset password email from us.
- I am trying to use a coupon voucher and its not working?
Please send an email over to us so we can find out why – sarahscreativekitchen@hotmail.com
- Can I buy a gift voucher?
You can indeed 😊 We have gift vouchers available ranging from £5 to £100, you can find them here: https://www.sarahscreativekitchen.co.uk/product-category/gift-vouchers/
- Can I book a chocolate birthday party?
We host various workshops, birthday parties and events at the eatery, ran through our sister company Sarah’s Chocolate Kitchen.
All of our workshops are held in the back room of our Chocolate Shop in Eastwood, Leigh On Sea. We run various themed sessions. Prices start from £17.50 for child spaces, which we run both mixed sessions and private party bookings.
Our Adult sessions start from £35 + for 1.5 hour Chocolate and Prosecco classes, and up to £65.00 for afternoon tea and chocolate making. From time to time, we also run smaller masterclasses with up to five people only coming for the whole day. This is priced at £175 and includes lunch and drinks throughout the day.
Please email us at enquiries@sarahschocolatekitchen.co.uk to enquire on dates and time available, we are happy to create a package designed to your requirements.
For private use of our chocolate studio, we do have a minimum amount of 8 people on any of the weekend sessions and six during the working week. The maximum the back room can accommodate now is 10 people.
- Who do you use to post your chocolate?
We have adapted our packaging quite a lot since our establishment, not only to make sure it comes to you in the same condition it left us in, but also to be more environmentally friendly.
Our products are hand packed in recyclable plastic outer packets with recyclable cardboard inserts. They are then put into cardboard boxes, also recyclable, and covered with packing peanuts – these disintegrate when placed in water, so minimally impacting the environment.
Over time we will continue to look at our packaging and keep trying to reduce our carbon footprint but, for now, this is the best compromise we have to keep your products safe.
- Do you support charities?
Yes, yes, yes.
Supporting charities is massively important to us here. You can find the full run down of our charity support under the Charity disc.
- I am a blogger and would love to try and blog about your products?
Thank you so much for your interest in working with us! 😊 We spend quite a bit of time in the background carefully selecting people to work with and tend to approach people ourselves as we receive so many enquiries about this.
Unlike many other brands, the number of followers on a person’s profile doesn’t mean much to us, and we focus on working with people who we can support, who share the same brand ethos and messages as us, or who do similar products for partnerships.
If you think the shoe fits then please do feel free to drop us an email with your page name/s.
- Can we collaborate with each other?
We do love a good collaboration! We wouldn’t be where we are without collabs in the past and are sincerely thankful to anyone / any brand that has done this with us previously.
It is important for us as a small business to try and support other small businesses and you may have noticed across our social media platforms historically that we have collaborated with a wide range of businesses and people.
Our brand message is hugely important to us and we always prefer to collaborate with those of you who have a similar one. We do welcome collaboration enquiries, but please do be aware if you’d like to contact us about this that we are running them minimally at the moment due to limited capacity with the current pandemic. Email us at sarahscreativekitchen@hotmail.com if you’d like to get in touch about one.
- How much do your products cost?
We have such a range in price that we simply don’t have the space to answer this here. Our products are above ‘supermarket average’ but that is due to the time and effort that goes into making them. ALL of our products are produced using only the finest Belgian chocolate, and each one of them is hand crafted, hand topped, hand packed then hand packaged.
Nothing in our shop is created using any machinery, aside from our tempering machines, and all items go through a standards check prior to leaving us to make sure it is in perfect condition, so you do pay a little extra due to those things.
